Methi matar paneer

Ingredients-
1.1 cup fresh methi leaves
2.1 cup green peas
3.250 gram paneer
4.2 medium tomatoes
5.1 medium onion
6.4-5 garlic cloves
7.2 tbsp oil
8.1.5 tsp red chili powder
9.1.5 tsp cumin coriander powder
10.1/2 tsp turmeric powder
11.salt
12.2-3 cloves
13.3-4 black paper corns
14.1 bay leaf
15.1 dry red chili

Method-

1.crush garlic cloves among with red chili powder and pinch of salt.(making chili garlic paste avoid the burning of garlic and give nice colour).this process is optional you can also use crushed ginger garlic paste or only garlic paste.

2.cut paneer into medium cubes and fry them for few seconds. Don't turn it brown.

3.wash green peas.Wash methi leaves thoraly under running water.chop them.also finally chopped onion and tomatoes.

4.heat oil in a pan.when it hot properly add cloves,black pepper corns,bay leaf and dry red chili.saute for few seconds.

5.Add garlic chutney(paste).saute for 30 seconds.add finely chopped onion.mix and saute until onion becom soft.

6.Add tomatoes and salt to taste. Cook until tomatoes become tender and looking like a paste.


6.now add peas and chopped methi.also add seasoning like red chili powder,cumin coriander powder,turmeric powder. Add 2 tbsp water and cook on low flame covered with lead.

7.After cooking process adjust consistency by assing water. Add paneer cubes. Give a gentle mix and cook over low flame covered
With lid.

8.After 2 minutes out delicious  simple homemade methi matar paneer is ready. Don't cook any paneer sabji more than 2 minutes after adding paneer.
9.serve hot with paratha chapati or rice.
