Banana chips 2 ways (strips and kerala style)


Ingredients-
1. 1kg raw banana
2.oil
3.salt
4.red chili powder
5.turmeric powder

Method 1-
1.wash and dry bnanas.

2.Heat oil in a Kadai.peel 1 banana and slice them with the slicer.make long slices.Make banana slices for one turn or directly slice banana over the oil.

3.Fry them for 5 to 7 minutes or until it become  crispy and light golden in colour.

4.Remove from the kadai and place on tissue paper or like picture for remove the excess oil.

4.Now peel 1 more banana slice them and repeat the process .

5.sprinkle salt and red chili powder or your favourite sizzning.store in airtight container when cool completely.consume fo


Method 2-

1.make round slices from each banana.

2.add 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and 1/2 tsp salt in half cup water.

3.healt oil in a pan.when it heated properly put banana slices into them and pour about 2 tsp salty turmeric water on it when it frying.


4.mix well and fry fo5r another 5 to 7 minutes or until it turn yellow and crispy.

5.Take out from oil and repeat process.

6.After making all chips .Let it cool down completely and store in an air tight container and consume for 20 to 25 days.
